The imprint Larnaca, chez Giov. della Rosa was usually employed by Gay & Doucé, but not, apparently, in this instance. Galitzin (862), after the entry for a copy of this edition of Le Joujou des demoiselles, gives the following note: "Réimpression, en 1880, par l'editeur bien connu de `Auteur d'un clocher' de ce recueil de 110 epigrammes licencieuses." The entry for Auteur d'un clocher in Galitzin (168) clearly gives Kistemaeckers as the publisher. In addition, the artist A. Lynen is known to have been a regular illustrator of books for Kistemaeckers. (3 June 1882.) P.C. 17.b.15.
