                        PUBLIC CONDUCT ORDERS
       (An addition to "Slave's General Orders and CONTRACT",
        dated _________________, and included by reference therein)
    The following orders apply to public conduct of slave should
 slave choose to accompany Master, and Master choose to have slave
 accompany Her, in a public place.  These orders are understood to
 be in addition to all orders contained in the above-mentioned
 CONTRACT.
    slave must be acutely concious that her behavior will reflect
 more upon Master than upon her, and that strict adherence to the
 following rules is therefore extremely important.  Punishment for
 violation of ANY of these rules will be EXTREME.
Conduct Modes:
    slave shall behave in a manner consistent with the rules set
 forth in the three "Conduct Modes" outlined below.  Master will
 from time to time indicate which mode slave shall act within by
 stating the name of the Mode to slave; the Mode may change at any
 time, depending on circumstances, and slave must always be aware
 and consious of Master's wishes.  Master may additionally
 institute a set of silent signals to notify slave of the proper
 conduct mode.
    1. Private.  In Private Mode, slave is bound solely by the
           rules set forth in the basic Contract and no additional
           restrictions are imposed upon slave's conduct save those
           stated by Master, with the exception that slave may be
           required to wear clothing while in public places with
           Master.  This Mode will normally (although not always)
           be in effect when Master and slave are in the Master's
           space or in the space of a knowledgeable and/or
           sympathetic person or persons.
    2. Friendly.  Friendly mode will usually be in effect in such
           public places as leather bars where the dress, demeanor
           and appearance of Master and slave and the nature of
           their relationship will be understood for what they are
           and held sympathetically (or, at least, not
           antagonistically) by casual onlookers.
   slave should understand that she is "on display" as Master's
 property in such situations.  The following specific rules shall
 therefore apply to slave's conduct and demeanor while in Friendly
 Mode:
    a. Stationary Position.  slave shall remain at Master's side at
           all times unless specifically instructed otherwise.
           While Master and slave are standing in one place, slave
           shall maintain a physical position to the right of and
           one-half step behind Master.
    b. Moving Position.  If Master begins to move from one place to
           another, slave shall position herself to the right of
           and slightly behind Master and move at the same speed as
           Master.  slave shall remain within the range of Master's
           peripheral vision at all times, but under no
           circumstances shall slave be in front of Master.
    c. Elevation.  slave's eye level shall be below that of Master
           at ALL times.  Should Master move so that Her eye level
           is below that of slave, slave shall immediately move so
           as to correct this imbalance.  Rule 7 of the General
           Orders is hereby extended to include all furniture, not
           just that in Master's space; slave will therefore kneel
           (or assume a lower position, if need be) should Master's
           eye level drop below slave's, rather than (for example)
           sit with Master, unless granted specific permission to
           do so.
    d. Interactions With Others.  slave shall speak to NO ONE at
           ANY time unless first spoken to.  Absent Master's
           specific instructions to the contrary, slave's sole
           response to conversational attempts by others shall be
           confined to the statement "I am sorry, but I am not free
           to talk.  Please speak to my Master", and to indicate
           who Master is with appropriate body language.  In
           addition, slave shall have NO physical contact with
           other persons unless such contact is unavoidable.
    slave shall treat ALL persons with deference and respect,
 regardless of their demeanor or apperance.  The one exception to
 this rule shall apply in the case of persons who, in the slave's
 judgement, behave in such a manner as to indicate that they do not
 respect the relationship between Master and slave (e.g., drunks);
 in such situations, slave is authorized to take whatever actions
 slave deems necessary to terminate contact with such persons.
 Master is free, in Her judgement, to override slave's decision in
 such matters and to punish slave for misbehavior.  However, Master
 will not tolerate anyone "mashing" or otherwise molesting slave
 and will step to slave's defense if need be.
    Master may, at Her discretion, grant slave "free time".  During
 "free time", slave is free to leave Master's immediate presence,
 and/or to interact normally with Master and with Master and
 slave's acquaintances, including casual physical contact.  slave
 shall make frequent eye contact with Master and be prepared to
 rejoin Master immediately if Master directs.
    3. Public.  Public Mode will generally apply in contexts where
 Master/slave relationships may not be accepted or understood by
 those present.  The following rules are therefore intended more to
 ensure the physical safety of Master and slave, rather than to
 further the relationship between them.
    The following specific rules shall apply to slave's behavior in
 Public Mode:
    a. General Demeanor.  Slave shall conduct herself AT ALL TIMES
            in such a manner as to not call attention to Master and
            slave.
    b. General Orders 7 & 8 Suspended.  Rule 7 of the General
            Orders (prohibiting slave's use of furniture) and Rule
            8 (prohibiting slave from being clothed in Master's
            presence) are suspended while in Public Mode.
    c. Movement and Position.  The movement and position rules set
            forth in Friendly Mode also apply to Public Mode, with
            the provision that slave shall not make her adherence
            to said rules obvious: casual and relatively loose (but
            definite!), rather than quick and snappy, conformity to
            the rules is called for in such situations.
    d. Interactions With Others.  slave shall speak only when
            spoken to by others and shall converse with others only
            with Master's permission.  If slave is approached by a
            member of the public, slave shall behave in a strictly
            formal and "correct" manner and limit her speech to
            those words and phrases absolutely necessary to
            communicate in a non-offensive manner, and she will
            refer any questions regarding the nature of the
            relationship between Master and slave to Master,
            calling Master by Her name rather than referring to Her
            as "Master".  (slave may expect that Master will
            intervene quickly should such a situation arise.)
   By her signature below, slave acknowledges that she has read,
     understands, and agrees to abide by the foregoing Additional
     Rules.
