Middle warmup scolding

The middle warmup scolding school is a spanking technique mentioned in chapter 27 "Homework" of the spanking novel Melody's Stories by Lurking Dragon, where it is practised by Melody's school teacher Mrs. Jackson after Melody had forgotten to do one of her assignments.

According to this method, the spanking is given in three segments, as follows:

1. First, a light spanking, maybe for half a minute, is given on the clothed bottom. This functions as a warm-up and to focus the spankee's mind for the following phase. It does not need to sting too much to fulfil this purpose. No scolding during this first phase.
2. Second, a somewhat harder spanking is given on the seat of the spankee's underwear, accompanied by a good scolding. This is the segment, where "according to the theory, scolding would be most effective". The scolding should drive the message (why the spanking is given and that the offense committed is really grave and is not to be repeated) home. By the time this phase is finished, the spankee (if a child) should be brought to bawling. With a teenaged or adult spankee, bawling may be too difficult to reach, so this is not a strict necessity.
3. Third and last, the main spanking is given on the spankee's bare bottom, another little harder than before, to make him or her cry and wail freely. To continue scolding would be useless at this last segment because the spankee wouldn't be able to listen to the words anyway, so during this last phase the spanker can fully concentrate on the spanking without speaking.
