Bedwetting
Bedwetting is involuntary urination while asleep after potty train. Most girls can stay dry by age six and most boys stay dry by age seven. By ten years old, 95% of children are dry at night.
Bedwetting and spanking
Bedwetting is something the child has no control over, and can be come worse if stressed with blame. But it was once considered that the child is being lazy or lacks self-control, and so children were subjected to scoldings and punishment for bedwetting.
Some spanking stories focus on the latter outlook, and will treat it as a cause for punishment, or even a mix of punishments that mix spanking with humiliation punishments such as Diaper Discipline.
Bedwetters can be made to wear electric training diapers which administer electric shocks upon wetting as punishment.
