While the BackDrop was in Richmond, I was hired to be an expert witness in a pay telephone patent infringement suit. I had to travel to Dallas, TX presenting legal evidence for a plaintiff before Federal Court. The plaintiff alleged that plaintiff (Southland Corporation, also known as 7-11) had been making pay telephones using technology invented by the plaintiff.

Dallas, TX

I had plenty of evening time, so while visiting Dallas, I met Ruth, Robin and Charles of "Lone Star Pep".

I contacted them through a internet and was asked to meet a upcoming munch. Upon arrival, I was vetted with the usual "who are you, what are you looking for" type of questions. I guessed I passed and was invited to attend a play party at Ruth's home that weekend. I had barely cleared the front door when I was warmly greeted door by Ruth with her "down South" hugs and kisses.

During the evening, I was asked if "I knew anything about bondage". Uh-oh!

I went to my rental car and returned with a few pieces of webbing about eight feet long. A quick handcuff knot to the wrists, run the ends around the torso, tie them into a bow. Another piece handcuff knot around the ankles, the ends wrapped around the thighs and then tied to the piece around his waist. Classic hogtie.

After several minutes of imitating an inch worm, he conceded. One for the "West Coast"!

I was asked to do several other uses for webbing - I was the appointed rigger for the rest of the weekend.

On that same trip, I had placed a quick "Robin is Town" type ad in the local adult paper. A very sweet lady named Dee answered that ad.

We met at a local coffee shop and exchanged the usual "Five W's of negotiating a session. We spent the evening discussing backgrounds, expectations and goals. We met that weekend at my hotel.

We stayed in touch until the following summer when she came to California and spent several days with us. She announced the impending birth of a son, Chris. During a collaring ceremony she was give the slave name xenaRRa.

The following year, she returned to California and Chris celebrated his first birthday at BackDrop.

That was 1981 and this is now 2019 and we still talk on a regular basis.

She has written a two novels:

Perfection, and
Caged Birds Don't Fly High

Both are excellent reads.

(I will be adding more to this story when I get SM-201 back onine.)
