Open your mouth is usually given as a direct command, but as such it might also include other instructions to stick out one's tongue, tilt your head upward, open or close your eyes, and/or to assume an kneeling position depending upon prior training.

This command might also be preparatory to inspection of the mouth, feeding, installing a gag, or oral sex.
