Follow me!

The "Follow me" command is given by a dominant to a submissive to invoke an action.

This command is given prior to a dominants movement to a new location. When the submissive hears this command, they should take up a physical position behind and to the left (seven o'clock) to their Master or Mistress.

It may be a stand-alone command, or it may be part more complicated meta-command, for example, carry these boxes while following me, or stand and walk behind me, or follow me while you are "on all fours".

"Follow me" is distinctly different from the command "come here"

  • "follow me" would indicate the dominant is planning to move to a new location (transitive) while
  • "come here" would indicate the dominant is planning to not move to a new location (intransitive).

The "Follow me" command may be countermanded, for example, by issuing the command to "stop", etc.

This command is often part of the training program for a submissive by his or her Master or Mistress.
