Turn around is a command that instructs a person, usually one who is standing, to face the opposite direction -- in other words, to perform a 180 degree turn.

If the person faces away, this command will make them show their face and display their front. If the person is facing, this command will make them present their back. By using this command, one can control what the other person can see, and will not see. It also allows to access or inspect the person's front or back, as desired, without having to walk around them.

In spanking and BDSM

The "turn around" command is used in spanking and BDSM scenes, both in fiction and in real life play. Sometimes the bottom will not know what will happen to them after they turn around, at other times they might have an idea -- which can be right or wrong -- but in any case the command has a strong power play factor: the top demonstrates their control and the bottom experiences a strong feeling of being controlled.
