Forced motion (for lack of a better word) refers to one person hauling, carrying, dragging, pulling or pushing another person away to another place. So both people are moving together, but one is active (enforcing the movement), while the other is passive.

Forced motion is used:

  • when a person is unable to walk themselves (e.g. unconscious or too weak)
  • to show one's love or affection (mostly in carrying)
  • when a person is unwilling to go to the place where the other person wants him to (resistance)
  • when a person is compliant, but the other person wants to ensure that there is no resistance, and/or to demonstrate their power or authority
