Alan Lawrence
Alan Lawrence, also known as ArtBoy62, is an English born Australian artist and writer. He was born in 1947 in England and grew up there in the 1950s and 60s. He took a fine art course in college after leaving secondary school, then did his practical training in a London advertising agency. He also lived in Berlin and Paris in the 1970s and 80s, before moving to Sydney, Australia.
Spanking and adult art
Western people tend to take an anti-spank stance and most European countries made laws that ban spanking and caning. This was not always the case. When I went to school in the 50s and 60s, English parents and teachers used corporal punishment and thought nothing of it. I was spanked and caned at school and at home and my school friends were given similar punishments for bad behavior.

Alan Lawrence draws spanking art and related themes with a focus on vintage (early to mid-20th century) settings, girls in old-fashioned knickers as well as boy in singlets, underpants and swimwear. His pairings feature a wide range: F/G, M/G, /f, G/G, F/B, M/B, /m, F/F, M/F. He also does creative tracing based on photo references.
His artwork and some photographs are featured on deviantART under the user name Artboy62, and on his website Vintage Fetish. The freelance artist also illustrated the spanking magazine Paddles for 8 years.
Mainstream work
Alan Lawrence has also written and illustrated mainstream children's stories, such as Spartan Boys, Louise's Fairy Friend, and The Replicant.
