AVN (Adult Video News) magazine is the standard trade magazine of the pornography industry in the United States. It is headquartered in the San Fernando Valley. It is owned by Paul Fishbein.
Since 1984, AVN has produced the annual AVN Awards where awards are given to honor achievement in the field of adult video.
AVN Adult Entertainment Expo
The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) is a trade show held each January in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is sponsored by the Adult Video News Magazine (AVN). The AVN Awards show is held during the Expo at the nearby The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

A Personal Note from Robin
I try to attend AVN (which is held in Las Vegas) the same week as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
In 2000, I attended CES and I visited the booth of a company which produced "Genie" remote actuators. As part of their advertising campaign, they had Barbara Eden (of "I Dream of Jeannie" fame) as their spokesperson and they had drawings for several "presents". I was lucky enough to win what they thought was their "Grand Prize": a beautiful, velour reversable jacket. I think the jacket was second place award because along with the jacket I got a kiss on the cheek from Barbara Eden!
