BDS has always promoted education, understanding, and socialization, all, in a safe, sane, and consensual manner.  We are a pansexual group, where the only common denominator is one’s desire to learn and enjoy BDSM practice and play.

The Boston Dungeon Society (BDS), founded by Mentor and Libby, has been part of the Boston Leather Scene for almost fourteen years. BDS was one of the first leather organizations in the Boston community, and can proudly take responsibility for openly promoting the leather lifestyle in the greater Boston area.

BDS has always promoted education, understanding, and socialization, all, in a safe, sane, and consensual manner. We are a pansexual group, where the only common denominator is one’s desire to learn and enjoy BDSM practice and play.

Over the years the Boston leather community has grown in ways that reflect the complex desires and needs of it's members. And while BDS has been an integral part of this growth, we believe we have reached a point in time where we need to restructure our organization to more closely meet and reflect the evolving desires and needs of our membership and the leather community as a whole.

Thereby, in recognition of the above, the Boston Dungeon Society (BDS) has taken on the name of "New England Dungeon Society" and created this new website We believe this re-structuring and re-organization better emulates our philosophy, our mission, and our commitment to move forward in an effort to improve our organization for our present members, our future members and members of the New England and Boston leather community.

BDS was active from 1992 until 2004, and is now known as the New England Dungeon Society
