A body bag is a leather, rubber or canvas bag in which a bottom can be restrained. They are typically close fitting with lacing and straps to ensure that once in, the bottom cannot escape. Body bags are suitable for long term bondage sessions as they do not stress the body in any way likely to cause damage.
Doing a quick web search (in May, 2008), I was able to find prices for the following items:
- Leather body bags priced about $400.00
- Latex body bags priced about $150
- Medical "cadaver" bags (picture at right) about priced $20
A few inexpensive "pervertible" alternatives are:
- Plastic or "saran" wrap used for shipping about $10/roll - one roll is sufficient
- Vet wrap about $2/roll on eBay - about six will be required
