While a Penitatas is physically a child, and their reactions will tend towards immaturity, some courts have recently decided that it is desirable to enhance the felon's childish side, especially during hard times. This has led to the use of nano-web technology. A nano-web is a network of interconnected nano processors, each smaller than a cell, which can be used to carefully enhance and modify emotional and physical reactions. It forces the felon's mindset into a more childish and malleable form. The felon finds him or herself reacting to their experiences as a child, emotionally, and not as the adult they had been. So far the results have been very promising.
