A man (pl. men) is a male human adult. When a boy grows up, he becomes a man.
However, man is sometimes used to refer to humanity as a whole. Sometimes it is also used to identify a male human, regardless of age, as in phrases such as "men's rights".
The term manhood is used to refer to the various qualities and characteristics attributed to men such as strength and male sexuality.
A man has the same family relationships as a boy (son, nephew, brother, ...), plus possibly some additional ones: he can be the husband of his wife, the father of his children, the grandfather of his grandchildren, and the uncle of his nephews and nieces.
In spanking art, men come in two main roles: as spankees and as spankers.
