Fontana (pseudonym of Léo Fontan, 1884-1965) was a well-known French BDSM and spanking artist. He was born in 1884 in Douchery, France, and moved to Paris where he lived and worked. He was a pupil of Bonnat and a member of Société des Artistes. He started exhibiting his works in 1911. Léo Fontan died 1965 in Annecy, France.

He illustrated works such as Le Pensionnat de Madame Clerval by Daisy Lennox (1933) and Chambrières de haute école by René-Michel Desergy (1934).
