Types of chain
Proof.jpg Proof Chain has formed and welded loops. 'Proof' is the minimum amount of strength placed on chain while being manufactured, proving the chain will withstand "that amount of stress" during use.

  • Primary reasons for using chain in bondage? Its inability to be cut by normal household tools.
  • Reasons not to use chain? It's cold to touch. Tightening bondage is plus or minus one link. (With large link sizes, that could be plus or minus 2"!)
  • To keep chain from rusting, apply a thin coat of WD-40 or "Teflon-Plus". Both will prevent rust: but WD-40 it's not very 'session friendly' and "Teflon-Plus" is a dry lube.
