Bondage Styles can best be described as the "format and materials" used in bondage. In this work, I have broken them into three major categories:
1. Old World: As you would imagine, being Old World: it is exemplified by chains; large coarse, hempen rope; iron cuffs; pillories; corsetery; lots of leather; and other modalities representative of 1800's England and Europe.
2. New World: Best exemplified as plastics; stockings and garters; high heels; saran wrap and other materials of the 20th century.
3. Shibari/Oriental: Shibari originated in Japan during the Edo era as a form of punishment. It lends itself quite well to performance art.
