Bars & Stripes
Bars and Stripes was a spanking video producer with a pay site inspired by Women in Prison films. It was created by the UK spanking actress Leia-Ann Woods. The site was established in October 2005, with her good friend and collaborator Michael Stamp (regularly seen on Northern Spanking). Membership costs $29.95 per month (or £17.60 per month).
Style and content
The site's theme is a fictional women's prison in which the inmates are spanked for their crimes and for breaking prison rules. It features photographs, videos and stories. The prisoners wear orange or striped uniforms. The punishment scenarios, which take place in cells and the warden's office, are a mix of M/F and F/F pairings.
Performers
Each actor plays only one character and there is a running storyline surrounding Leia and her unfortunate compatriots. The continuing story unfolds much like a television soap opera. Leia-Ann plays Mrs Woods, a tough gangster's moll, Lucy McLean (Northern Spanking) is the resident Matron, Paul Kennedy (also of Northern Spanking) plays Senior Officer Kennedy, Michael Stamp is the Number One Governor, and Zoe Page plays a correctional officer.

Visitors to the site can access criminal records, mug shots, and other personal information for each prisoner.
Censorship and change of ownership
The Authority for Television On Demand (ATVOD) in the UK has been imposing increasingly strict regulations on adult content distributed online via streaming and other downloading services since 2010. In 2015 mounting legal difficulties led to Bars and Stripes transferring ownership of the company to Real Life Spankings in Amsterdam, a producer known for its Spanked-in-Uniform series.
