Garter panties(in the US) or Suspender briefs (in the UK) are lingerie consisting of a pair of panties with garters attached. The garters may be attached from either the waistband or the bottom hem. Thus these briefs function as a combination of ordinary panties and a garter belt.
If the panties part resembles a thong, the garment may be called a garter thong, though that term also has another meaning.
