Don Brennus Aléra was a French author and is possibly identical to the author Bernard Valonnes as well as the artists Tack, Esbey and Selby - all of which are suspected to be pseudonyms of Roland Brévannes.

Don Brennus Aléra is one of the major contributors to early 20th century French spanking literature. Between 1903 and 1936 he wrote, illustrated and published about 100 erotic fetish novels in French, mostly of flagellation themes.
