Bree Barrett is a retired American porn star.

Barrett left adult entertainment in 2013 to pursue training as an emergency medical technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. A few years later, she relocated to Oregon to continue her education at Southwestern Oregon Community College and become a nurse. It was there that her instructors discovered her past as a porn star. Barrett filed a tort damages lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Oregon of the school saying the school had allegedly discriminated against her and purposely failed her out of the school's nursing program while she attended there between Fall 2017 and Spring 2018, Barrett said multiple lawyers denied bringing the suit against the school, and that she even attempted suicide prior to resolving to getting justice.

According to court documents from 2022 after four years of legal battles, the jury felt the school breached its contract with the former porn star, which resulted in damages to the plaintiff. As a result, she was awarded $735,417 for economic damages and $1 million for non-economic damages. The case has been deemed a landmark for sex workers leaving the industry who are discriminated against at schools and in the workplace for their past.

Barrett has said she isn’t ashamed of her time in the porn industry, and she enjoyed it but wanted to do something more stable. As of 2022, she is studying law at the University of Massachusetts.
