Across the Wide Missouri (1951) is a western film directed by William Wellman starring Clark Gable, Ricardo Montalban, and Maria Elena Marques.
Synopsis
Colorful, if routine, frontier adventure story about explorer Gable and other pathfinders moving westward in the early 19th century.
The spanking scene
While visiting an Indian camp, Gable pulls an Indian maiden over his knee for a brisk hand-spanking of around 20 smacks.
