Mistress Monique
Monique and I met when the BackDrop Clubhouse was in Redwood City, California.
She answered one of my advertisements in the Berkeley Barb. While interviewing her, it became obvious that she was much better suited to being a Professional Mistress than being a model. We had dinner that night at 'The Farmhouse restaurant' in Redwood City with several of the Staff members.
She was one step away from being homeless in San Francisco and was definitely a "Damsel in Distress". "The Guy" she was staying with in The City was being abusive and she said she did not wish to return to their motel room. She spent that night in the clubhouse on Price Street. A few days later Monique and I went to San Francisco, retrieved her belongings and we became "roommates".
She was a half-inch taller than me and loved wearing six-inch heels. We were noticeable wherever we went.
I introduced her to my mother and father: they both adored her. On one occasion, Shirlee (my mother) quipped that should Monique and I ever get a divorce, "Monique is always in the Roberts home. Robin not so much".
