Fabric, cloth or textile is a thin, flexible material, usually permeable to air, constructed by weaving yarn or fibers into a web, or by other techniques with a similar result. Fabric may be natural or synthetic, or a combination of different materials. It is used for the making of clothing, bags, upholstered furniture, draperies, window shades, towels, bedding, cushions, flags, tents, parachutes, etc.
