Neoprene Diving suit

Neoprene or polychloroprene was the first commercial synthetic rubber, produced in 1931. He was also the inventor of nylon.

It is frequently used to make wetsuits, drysuits and other garments.

It is made by polymerising chloroprene (CH₂=CCl−CH=CH₂).
