Robert Zak was the founder and primary producer and occasional film director and screen writer of "GwenMedia Los Angeles", a fetish film production company that was ended in 2006. A successor company to the original Gwen Media was restarted in 2007 by Isabella Sinclaire.
Zak originally developed the Gwen Media film company with noted fetish writer and director John Fitzgerald as an outgrowth of Zak's fetish clothes business Whiplash USA.
Zak died of heart failure in June 2005.
