Alex Chance was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. When she was nine years old, her family moved to Virginia Beach, where she lived until 2012, when she moved to California. During her teenage years, she worked in marketing as a dancer in a club, waitress, and barista at a Starbucks.
