A Female-led Relationship or FLR refers to a couple (usually married) or family where the female is the head of the household and in control. Very often, this includes BDSM and female domination practices. However, it can be as mild as Orgasm Control (see the Around Her Finger book and link below).

In a FLR, the wife or female makes the decisions and controls the finances. The husband or male does all or most of the housework.
