Colleen Brennan (born December 11, 1949), also known by other aliases such as Sharon Kelly, is an American pornographic actor and member of the XRCO Hall of Fame.
Early years
Colleen Brennan was born in Tennessee and raised in Kentucky. In 1969, she began working as a burlesque dancer first at The Clermont Lounge in Atlanta, GA, and later in New Orleans, LA before making her way to California where she began doing regular stripping in a number of clubs, most notably at The Classic Cat.
Career
A buxom, freckled redhead, Colleen Brennan began her career starring as Sharon Kelly in several 1970s sexploitation films produced by Harry Novak. She also made appearances in Russ Meyer's Supervixens (1975) and the Women in prison films Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS (1975) and its first sequel Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976).
In 1975, she had topless cameo appearances in the mainstream films Hustle (1975 film) and Shampoo.
In the 1980s, she began an extensive career in hardcore pornography films under the Colleen Brennan name, starring in several installments of the Taboo series, and winning two AVN Awards in 1987.
She stopped appearing in movies in 1990.
Retirement
After retiring, Brennan dropped out of the public eye, opened and ran her own phone sex recording studio that distributed pre-recorded sexual fantasies that were from name porn stars for phone sex lines, and had a daughter in the late '80s before eventually moving to the southeast. For 15 years, she worked in social services working with adults who have developmental disabilities. She has been in a long-term relationship with a significantly younger male partner since circa 1997. She is the proud grandmother of two grandchildren.
