A straitjacket catsuit is, as its name suggests, a combination of a straitjacket and a catsuit.
In other words, it is a catsuit that, like a straitjacket, has sleeves with closed ends to imprison the wearer's hands, and straps at the end of the sleeves and elsewhere on the garment to enable the wearer's arms to be immobilized. Combining these two functions gives the wearer a sense of enclosure and adds to the feeling of helplessness. It is more difficult to escape from than a straitjacket.
