A dough scraper is a kitchen implement used for scooping dough from a bowl. Simple dough scrapers are just a thin piece of plastic, without a handle. More advanced dough scrapers resemble a wooden or plastic cooking spatula but have a working end made of flexible material like rubber or silicone.
Usually the working end is flat, but there are also variants that are slightly cupped (like a spoon) for better scooping from rounded bowls.
A rubber/silicone dough scraper makes an excellent spanking implement because of its shape, size, weight and material. By most spanking fans who have had a chance to try it, a dough scraper is considered superior to a wooden spoon or a wooden/plastic/metal spatula.
