Graphic artist A graphic artist is an artist who works in those areas of two-dimensional visual arts that rely more online or tone than on color, especially drawing, comics, and the various forms of engraving and printmaking. The profession is related to that of an illustrator and of a graphic designer, but a graphic designer's job is more inclusive and also includes photographic and typesetting work.
