Hands-over-head position is similar to suspension bondage except the person feet still touch the floor.
In the photo to the right, the hoist can be positioned so she can stand flat-footed, en pointe[Note 1] or suspended depending upon the desires and/or limitations of people involved.
The persons weight is supported by their lower torso hence no stress is placed on hands, elbows or shoulders.
This position is handy for sessions where the person who is to flogged as it stretches their torso muscles and at the same time keeps their hands from interfering with the flogging.
