Pygoscopia (from Latin pygia = buttocks and scopia = watching, seeing) means the observance of someone's buttocks.

Pygoscopia is typically found in the following scenario:

  • the observed person has attractive buttocks (see also callipygian),
  • that person's buttocks are visible, either naked or clothed,
  • the observing person has a liking for buttocks (see also pygophilia).
