Suspender thong

A suspender thong is a garment, often a swimsuit, for women consisting of a thong with straps that go over the shoulders similar to braces (American suspenders) holding up trousers. It thus resembles a mankini, and has been described as a "one-piece bikini" or sling bikini. It has also been called a sling swimsuit.

The idea is that it covers the crotch and the nipples, so that the wearer is not actually indecent, but the buttocks and most of the breasts are clearly visible so that very little is left to the observer's imagination.

Panther Girl's costume consists of a suspender thong, thighboots, and long gloves.

The name is also used for a pair of suspender briefs where the part of the brief is a thong.
