The Royal Château de Blois is located in the center of the city of Blois in France. It was the residence of several French kings. The castle comprises several buildings constructed from the 13th to the 17th century around the main courtyard.
La correction maternelle
"La correction maternelle" (maternal correction) is the usual name given to a spanking sculpture in the Royal Château de Blois, France. It is a caryatid in the Gothic style Louis XII wing, at the Escalier d'Honneur (staircase of honor).
The work is not to be confused with the engraving of the same title.
