Vicky Vette (born June 12, 1965 in Stavanger, Norway) is a pornographic actress and nude model. She is sometimes credited as Vicky the Viking Vixen, referring to her Norwegian "look" and heritage. She attributes her stage name to her love of classic Corvettes and their curves reminiscent of a woman's body. At the time of her rise to fame, Vette was married to a man often referred to simply as "Frank", who sometimes co-starred with her.
Background
According to the biography, on her website, and said an interview in Norwegian she was born in the city of Stavanger, on the southwestern coast of Norway. With her mother and stepfather, she moved to Canada when she was six years old, and moved to the United States at the age of 32.
She was a successful accountant for several years, becoming involved in top-level management before quitting to work in general contracting with her husband. After a few years in which their business became successful, Vicky decided to try working as a model. With her husband's encouragement, she began lingerie and nude modeling, and soon transitioned to hardcore video and photo shoots.
Vicky Vette lives in Atlanta, Georgia and also has an apartment in Beverly Hills, California.
Career
Vette is a rarity in the adult industry in that she began her porn career at the age of 38. She won Hustler magazine's monthly amateur photo submission contest (called Beaver Hunt) in May 2003, becoming the oldest woman to do so. She subsequently posed for two layouts in Hustler Magazine; December 2003 and July 2004.
She was then contacted and briefly represented by LA Direct Models after including some fine art nude pictures in her portfolio.
Vicky Vette's video debut was on the porn website MILF Hunter in fall 2003, where she used the name Vickie in the movie "Freshly Fucked Look". The 38 minute video had Vickie dressed in a string bikini at a hotel pool, and for perhaps the first time in MILF Hunter's history, they actually had a MILF, a woman who was 38 years of age.
Seeing her MILF Hunter video, rival website MILF Seeker hired Vicky and 2 weeks later had her involved in 3 separate 30 minute videos.
Her first videotape distributed sex scene was in Joey Silvera's Evil Vault, where she performed DP with Dick Deleware and Alex Roxx.
In just a few years, she has starred in over 100 movies and posed for several porn magazines including Hustler, Busty Beauties, High Society, and Cheri. Vicky is a contestant in an online reality porn contest called "Adult associate link", hosted by porn legend Ron Jeremy.

Husband's suicide
On January 30 2006, the body of Vicky's husband Frank was discovered in a friend's apartment. The death was officially ruled a suicide, although few details were immediately released.
This passage is of dubious merit, from a legal standpoint – as Ms Vette's lawyer pointed out in a letter to the Foundation, Frank's reliability under the circumstances was questionable at best.
I'm commenting it out instead of removing it so that people who try to insert it again will see this note.
A letter received by the AVN website purporting to be from Frank claims that Vette is a member of a white supremacist organization and puts this forward as her rationale for not doing interracial scenes. This was denied by a spokesperson for Vette and in return it is claimed that Frank was in fact the member of the Neo-Nazi group.
In a recent interview on KSEX in Los Angeles, Vicky describes being beaten up repeatedly by her husband during their marriage. This was the reason she claims for their separation and planned divorce. It was while the two were separated that Frank committed suicide by drug overdose (cocaine, heroin and others), stated Vette. Vette had recently left Frank at the time of his death.
