Turk - Artist Extraordinary

Who is Turk? [Source 1]

I'm just a guy, like most of you, with a fair amount of intelligence and a very active imagination, who happened to find a wonderful way to express all of the fantasies that were going around in his head. I didn't plan on becoming a "Bondage" artist. I went to college as a music major. My second love: Drawing.

How do I feel about Love Bondage?

The healthy involvement of mind and imagination that comes about when two partners engage in bondage play has long been a passion for me. The sight of a bound and gagged woman sets off little fires in my brain that stir me in ways and places I can't describe. Why? I don't know, but I do know this: sometime between my 10th and 12th birthday, I went from complete unawareness of the whole concept to becoming secretly obsessed. I never played Cowboys and Indians or any other childhood "tieup" games, and I lived in the mountains where the TV reception was so bad no one ever watched.

Even today, I can find no outside stimuli responsible for my feelings. Yet there I was, preoccupied with something I didn't even have a word for. Let the experts try to figure it out. By the way, I can and do relate to both the one doing the inding and the one being bound, picturing myself in either place.

Two major occurrences made me decide to throw my hat into the ring: the first was the passing of Robert Bishop, whose work I dearly love and admire, and the second was the declining output of Brian Tarsis. At that point, I felt that there was a shortage of professional quality artwork beginning to develop within Harmony publications, and someone was needed to fill in the gap. I decided that "someone" should be me. You see some of the results here and, hopefully, more in the future. I have firm commitments to being creative, imaginative, and constantly trying to improve the quality of my work. My motto is: "I love a challenge!"

So here's to new and lasting relationships.

Excelsior!

~~Turk
