Jerome “Treasure" Bambrick (born 04/16/1969, Illinois) is one of the people who has made the Bay Area scene what it is today. He says that he "has always been kinky", with dreams going back to the age of five, and lost his virginity with a young lady in bondage. These days, he self identifies as an "Open-minded" Master. In his youth, before finding the SM/Leather/Fetish community, Treasure was an ardent student of the martial arts (earning his black belt in TKD in 87’) and also enjoyed strategy games (Chess and other strategy board games).

He is current expanding his education towards his law degree.

When asked why he enjoys being a Master, he replies "Because it sings to me: SM makes magic and fantasies happen."

History

• Was a member of the Los Angeles based community group Threshold ( http://www.threshold.org ) and worked as a volunteer on their Dungeon Monitors teams.
• Became of member of the Society of Janus in 1995 and accepted the position of Hotline Director in 96 – 97.
• Was a staff instructor at the House of Difference (San Francisco Dungeon).
• Held several smOdyssey events at various BackDrop clubhouses
• Along with Morgan, Blackheart and CeCe, Jerome was Cofounder of smOdyssey created in 1998. smOdyssey was one of the very few education/social organizations to host large quarterly SM events (400 + guests) outside of San Francisco. smOdyssey’s first play parties were held at BackDrop dungeon.
• He was the founder of the national leather event FolsomFringe ( http://www.folsomfringe.com ). This event draws an annual average of 400-600 people world wide.
• Jerome openly worked with San Jose Police Department to increase law enforcement awareness and education towards the SM/Leather/Fetish community.
• He was the founder of the Dungeon Monitors Association (DMA) (http://www.dungeonmonitors.com/)
• Jerome is currently the Director of the Educational Outreach Program for National Coalition of Sexual Freedom (NCSF)
• Jerome has been nominated for West Coast “Man of the Year" by Pantheon of Leather.
