Tracy Phillips

Tracy Phillips (born March 1974 as Tracy Kathleen Phillips) is an American actress, dancer (particularly burlesque), and choreographer living in Southern California. Born to Wade Phillips, head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, and Laurie Phillips. Tracy has one younger brother, Wes Phillips, also a coach for the Dallas Cowboys. Tracy is the granddaughter of Houston Oilers coach Bum Phillips.

Career

Having appeared in numerous music videos over the years, her most well-known role was that of Helena playing a dead, but slightly alive if not for a moment in My Chemical Romance's hit video, "Helena". Other music video appearances include No Doubt's "Bathwater", The Offspring's "The Kids Aren't Alright", The Goo Goo Dolls' "Black Balloon", and as one of the dancers for Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca".

Teaming up with other choreographers, she has produced dance numbers for some of the most popular music videos at the time. Her most recent work includes Evanescence's "Call Me When You're Sober", My Chemical Romance's "Teenagers", and Finger 11's "Paralyzer". When not working on music videos, she co-choreographs the Los Angeles based nightclub show, Blackout.

She has worked in a handful of movies playing minor roles, either as a dancer or choreographer; some times both. Most notable credits include: Clerks II, Jackass Number Two, and Dreamgirls. Most recently, however, she can be seen in the movies Dark Streets, and Charlie Wilson's War; in which, is her biggest role to date, playing a belly dancer. Commercial appearances have been numerous and most notably for Pepsi and GAP.
