Former porn star Ron Hightower appeared in close to 200 films and video projects from 1989 to 1996; also during that time, he began a directorial career, around 1992 or so, in which he directed approximately 100 or so XXX film/video titles. Since about 1996, after meeting late rap music icon Tupac Shakur at a party held by Death Row Records, he began a second career in mainstream directing, primarly in music videos, where he went on direct vids for not only Tupac, but such other popular R&B/rap music recording artists such as Slick Rick, Faith Evans, Outcast, Too Short, KC and JoJo, Silky Fine. A now prolific African American adult-mainstream director, he has continued to direct projects for many peformers, particularly rappers. Having had many onscreen tyrsts with numerous lovely looking ladies in porn, he also briefly dated former porn actress Heather Lee in the early-mid 1990's.
