Biography
Quentin has been instrumental in building the Bay Area BDSM community by providing financial and emotional support to almost every club and group in the San Francisco bay area. (He holds BackDrop membership number #00001)
He has acted as a 'Training Model' and 'Training Wheels' for very, very many of the Professional Dominatrices.
On January 8th, 2007, he married his sweetheart of three decades, Elaine, and is currently living in Las Vegas, NV
"Beguiling the Unknown"
Quentin has always been a gentleman's gentleman, and he has always had an interest in being a male foot slave to a beautiful female. He has always had a strong interest in foot-fetish sessions but didn't know how to negotiate with a Pro Dom for the sessions he so badly wanted. He would go to any Pro Dom who had pictures of herself in thigh-high leather boots, because of his attraction to her boots. A lot of the Rooms of the 1970s and 1980s 'hadn't yet learned about session negotiations and safewords'. Some of these ladies would literally beat him, simply because that's what she thought all submissives wanted. It took many years for him to learn about session negotiations, and since then he has been a much happier man.
In an effort to 'broaden his sphere of influence', he developed a wonderful technique, which I pass along in several of my "How to meet Others" classes.
Quentin would ask a lady out on a date, all the while being a perfect gentleman. He would hold doors, carry packages, anything that a male sub would do. After several dates, he would intentionally 'screw up', apologize and suggest that he should be punished for his transgression.
He reports that it only works about half the time, "but it's a lot easier to 'train by example' than to 'fantasize about might have been'.
A Personal Note from Robin
I introduced Quentin and Elaine at the BackDrop clubhouse in Hayward in the mid-'70s. In 2006, while Quentin was in the hospital, I successfully 'tracked her down and re-introduced them'. In January 2007, Quentin and Elaine were married in Las Vegas: He is 82, she is 55. Quentin was my Best Man at my marriage to Susan/aRRyana
An inside joke: Quentin's idea of heaven would be to die peacefully, and then come back as a floor mat in a woman's locker room.\
