Notes : The name " Mystery House "has been used by several publishers since this reference is on books published in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, while John Fort did not begin operations until early editorial twentieth century.

Original edition published in Paris by about 1901 C. Hirsch. ( Dutel 710) Dutel evaluates the date of publication of this edition between 1914 and 1919.

Reference / Reference : Dutel 712. Bécourt 63: Condemned by the Criminal Court of the Seine December 23, 1914. The entry shows 1901 but says there are "several editions. It indicates wrongfully Viscount de S oussay as author name.
