Philogyny

Philogyny is fondness, love, or admiration towards women. It is the opposite of misogyny.

Cicero reports the word could be used in Greek philosophy to denote being overly fond of women, which was considered a disease along with misogyny.

In addition, the other two connotations in terms of men are as follows: since the word "man" or, in the Greek language, "anér-andros" has its form as "andr-ia" in its word combination, philandry is fondness towards men, whereas misandry is the hatred of men.

Etymology

Philogyny comes from philo- (loving) and Greek gynē (woman).
