Paul Brenet was an editor and publisher of French flagellation and spanking novels from about 1900 to 1936, in the "golden age" of early 20th century French spanking literature.

He published in Paris under various imprints including Éditions P. Brenet, Édition Parisienne, Librairie Artistique, Librairie Artistique et Édition Parisienne Réunies and several other name variants. Librairie Générale may also have been one of Paul Brenet's imprints since they had the same address as Librairie Artistique.
