Paint

Paint is any liquid, liquifiable, or mastic composition which after application to a substrate in a thin layer is converted to an opaque solid film.

Paint typically consists of pigment (natural or synthetic), binder (e.g. oil), and optionally a solvent.

Paint is often applied with a brush or from an aerosol paint can.

Painting

An artwork made by applying paint to a surface, and the process of doing so, is called painting. There are few examples of spanking in painting, outweighed by far by spanking in drawing and spanking in digital art.
