Osada Steve - the closest student and successor of the "father of kinbaku" - Osada Eikichi .
He came from Europe to Japan in 1990 and only got to know kinbaku in 1998 when he was invited to photograph the Ekichi Siege show. After they met, they began to work closely, and in 1999, he began to perform with a teacher at Roppongi Mistress Bar. In 2000, Osada Steve opened Studio SIX for Osada Ryu meetings and workshops.
In 2004 he made the first Shibari workshops in Berlin. Europe has been interested in kinbaku before, but it was the Osada Ryu workshops that gave a holistic and comprehensive approach to understanding the traditional Japanese tying technique. From that moment on, the popularity of kinbaku began to grow rapidly, and schools, communities, and studios were opened ... Due to the orientation of the Osada ryu style to public performances, and shows, it fell in love with the Western public and for a very long time, was a pressing shibari style in Europe and the USA.
