Obsession (born ✦September 29, 1976) is a former American pornographic actress.
Adult film career
Since 1995, Obsession has starred in more than 200 pornographic films. Her mother is white Italian and her father is black.
As a child growing up, she became introverted due to the lack of minorities in her small town, which led to her being bullied a lot. As a teenager, Obsession attended Los Angeles High School. She was a loner who never had a boyfriend.
Obsession sports a number of tattoos and body piercings, most notably a tattoo of her name just above her right breast and piercings on her nipples, eyebrow, and navel.
Her breasts are not considered large by industry standards, but she has gained much attention for her large round buttocks (often referred to as a ghetto booty), which have landed her roles in films such as the BootyTalk and My Baby Got Back series. According to iafd, she has performed in anal, interracial, double penetration and lesbian scenes.
During an interview for RogReviews.com, Obsession talks about her early days in the adult industry. In that conversation, she reveals that her first photoshoot was with a fellow porn star Mr. Marcus. She felt so comfortable with him that she wouldn't work with other men besides Marcus during her first year. With help from her "de facto" mentor, Obsession eventually branched out. She said in that same interview that her favorites (among the men) are Mr. Marcus, Lexington Steele, Mark Davis and Vince Vouyer.
Although she does not appear to be planning an attempt at mainstream film and television, Obsession has appeared in a number of rap-themed videos, among them:
- "Sex and the Studio" (Hosted by Digital Underground and co-starring Lacey Duvalle)
- "Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle"
- "Hip Hop and Porn Stars"
In November 2000, she appeared in an episode of the reality television show Blind Date. On the show, she was paired up with an unsuspecting, shy guy who never made a move to take things further on the date even though Obsession gave him many opportunities to do such.
Obsession has semi-retired from the industry.
