Nina Roberts is a French Pornographic actress, author and contemporary artist (video and photography).
Her name, a pseudonym, makes reference to her resemblance to the American actress Julia Roberts.
Biography
Her career in pornographic films began with the directors Hervé-Pierre Gustave (HPG), as well as Fred Coppola and Marc Dorcel, and continued for two years. It ended suddenly, for her to begin a career as an author.
Her first book, J'assume, was published in 2004 by éditions Scali. It told her story in the adult industry, and Virginie Despentes wrote the book's preface.
In 2007 Roberts published Grosse Vache (Scali), a brutal portrait of a young woman fighting bulimia, anorexia, drugs (cocaine and speed), and finding love, a novel in the form of a personal journal/diary. She worked on a film adaptation of Grosse Vache in collaboration with Evan Manifatori.
In 2007, Roberts married the metal singer Rash Horresco. She also moved into the field of art photography, having worked with Pascal Barin (exhibited in 2007).
